User data deletion

You can remove Afterpost’s copy of Facebook Page data. Meta can also send a signed deletion request when someone removes the app on Facebook.

From Afterpost

Sign in, deactivate Pages, and disconnect Facebook from Pages. To wipe the account, email the address in Afterpost transactional mail with the subject “Delete Afterpost account”. We delete the user row and cascaded Page, comment, and token data.

From Facebook

Facebook Login data-deletion callbacks POST to /api/facebook/data-deletion. Afterpost verifies the signed request, deletes Facebook connections (and cascaded Page tokens) for that Facebook user id, and returns a confirmation code.

Status

If you arrived here from Meta with a confirmation code, keep that code. It proves the deletion request was recorded.
